    N.J. hospitals are honored in U.S. News & World Report (newjerseynewsroom.com) But Hackensack University Medical Center didn't do badly. It was singled out for its geriatrics department and its heart/heart surgery department, the only hospital in New Jersey to receive two rankings in this year's publication. It was also only one of 152 hospitals to be ranked in the top 50 in a specialty.
