
Democrat Ruben J. Ramos, Jr., of Hoboken, was first elected to the New Jersey General Assembly on November 6, 2007.
Born December 20, 1973, Mr. Ramos received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Farleigh Dickinson University. Mr. Ramos teaches social studies at Public School 15 in Paterson.
Mr. Ramos and his wife, Norma, have a step-daughter: Gail; and two children, Isabel and Ryan.
Mr. Ramos represents the 33rd Legislative District, which includes the Hudson County municipalities of Guttenberg, Hoboken, Union City, Weehawken, West New York and a portion of Jersey City.
