Assemblywoman Mary Pat Angelini

Assemblywoman Mary Pat Angelini represents the 11th Legislative district which is composed of part of Monmouth County. She is currently serving her first term in the General Assembly. Assemblywoman Angelini is a Certified Prevention Specialist with a Bachelor of Social Welfare from East Tennessee State University and a Master of Public Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Since 1992, she has been the executive director of Prevention First, a nonprofit agency which provides substance abuse and violence prevention programs to the youth in Monmouth County. Assemblywoman Angelini was appointed to the New Jersey Human Rights Commission in 2008 and presently serves on the Monmouth County Human Services Advisory Commission since 1996 and the Monmouth County Youth Services Commission since 1994. She was appointed by Governor Christine Todd Whitman to serve on the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse in 2000 and subsequently re-appointed by Governor’s McGreevey, Codey and Corzine until she stepped down in 2007. Assemblywoman Angelini currently serves on the Health and Senior Services Committee as well as the Commerce and Economic Development Committee.
