Assemblyman Jack Conners

Chair, Military and Veterans Affairs

Jack Conners has been serving in the New Jersey Assembly since 1998. He represents the 7th district and resides in Pennsauken, NJ. He is currently the chair of the Military and Veterans Affairs committee and serves on the Financial Institutions and Insurance committee, and the State Government committee. The Assemblyman has held the position of Deputy Speaker since 2006. He began his career in public service as a member of the Army National Guard from 1964 to 1969, and served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1969 to 1970. He worked in the banking industry for 24 years before retiring as Vice-President and Regional Manager of Government Banking for Bank of America. Conners has been a Trustee at the Pennsauken Free Public Library Trustee since 1997 and a member of the Pennsauken High School Foundation Board since 1993. Assemblyman Conners is married and has 3 children with his wife Rosemary. He attended LaSalle University and the Edwards Blouistein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University.
