Democrat Caridad Rodriguez, of West New York, was first elected to the New Jersey General Assembly on November 6, 2007.

Born September 20, 1947, Mrs. Rodriguez attended Union Hill High School and studied to be a paralegal at Berkeley College.

Mrs. Rodriguez and her husband, Joseph, have three adult children: Bonnie, Glenn and Amy.

Mrs. Rodriguez represents the 33rd Legislative District, which includes the Hudson County municipalities of Guttenberg, Hoboken, Union City, Weehawken, West New York and a portion of Jersey City.
