Democrat Annette Quijano, of Elizabeth, was first sworn into the New Jersey General Assembly on September 25, 2008, filling the unexpired term of Neil M. Cohen. Ms. Quijano was elected to her first full term on November 3, 2009.

Born July 4, 1962, Ms. Quijano received her Bachelor of Science in management from Rutgers University; and her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School.

Ms. Quijano represents the 20th Legislative District, which includes the Union County municipalities of Elizabeth, Kenilworth, Roselle and Union Township.
